There’s not a single resident of Harris County that hasn’t or won’t eventually be affected by flooding in some way. There’s nothing we can do to stop the rain from falling, but there are a number of things we can do to prevent it form damaging our community at large. For more than 20 years we’ve waited while politicians have done nothing to protect the citizens of Harris County from continuous and catastrophic flooding issues. In Harris County this is an occurrence that happens all too often and we must work together to find the proper solutions for dealing with this issue and various other solutions related to it.
